ZTE cloud disaster recovery solutions focus on high availability of the data center, ensuring business data and services’ online performance. When the data center encounters natural disasters or man-made damage, it can still provide data and services, ensuring the function of the data center and the continuity of the business. According to the international disaster grade standards, there are following solutions:
1.Dual sites active-standby redundancy
In order to meet the need of disaster recovery, a production center and a disaster recovery center are established for disaster recovery. Each of the two centers deploys a set of TECS management software, and has its own pool of independent storage resources. Using the synchronization function of the disk array or the CEPH cluster, the production site data is synchronously copied to the standby site. the standby site creates new virtual machines according to the virtual machine specification and disk information which are synchronized from the production site. A mirror mapping of disk volume between production site and standby site is established. When the production site fails, standby site will start the virtual machine in the standby site and take over the business through one-key-switch feature.
2.Dual sites active-active redundancy
Double live disaster tolerance establishes production site and disaster recovery site in same city for real-time disaster tolerance. The two data centers use a set of TECS software to manage resources on two sites. The two sites use L2 connection. The solution use high availability and regeneration mechanism of TECS virtual machine to realize VM live migration and VM rebirth across sites. Using the shared volume feature stored in dual live data centers, two sites store data highly consistent. When the virtual machine is deployed in the double live storage, disaster recovery switching can be realized automatically.
3.Triple sites active-active-standby redundancy
This solution combines same city dual sites active-active solution and dual sites active-standby geographical redundancy solution. The solution implements multiple protections for data and business of the production site. If one active production site in the city fails in disaster, another active site in the same city will automatically take over the business. When the two active sites in the same city fail in disaster, the standby site will take over the business, through one-key-switch function of disaster management software, this solution can maximum the business continuity in the data center.
