June 27, 2019, Shenzhen, China - ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, won the Best 5G Network Solution for the AI-based virtualization network fault self-healing solution provided by its CloudStudio product, awarded by Communications Weekly at the MWC2019 Shanghai, fully approving its network O&M capability.
ZTE's CloudStudio network self-healing solution, based on massive data, implements AI-based analysis and rule extraction and provides intelligent fault prediction and location function to help operators achieve fault self-healing of virtualization networks. Through alarm association analysis, this solution performs efficient flashing alarm filtering and alarm compression. The number of alarms is reduced by over 90%, and work order suppression rate is reduced by over 10%. This effectively reduces the O&M workload and the number of invalid work orders. Meanwhile, with a built-in ML engine, the solution can extract cross-network and cross-layer fault association rules in real time and automatically added into the rule library, to reduce the dependence of fault location on experts and quickly locate the root cause of the fault, so that it multiplies O&M efficiency and reduces the O&M cost by more than 50%.
The intelligent evolution of network is a long-term process. ZTE has actively participated in global AI standards and open source organizations for many years, and has made great contributions to the development and maturity of network AI. At the same time, it actively carried out joint exploration and practice with global operators to together push forward the launching of more intelligent O&M scenarios, so as to help operators move towards the Zero-Touch O&M era.
