Perfectly melting traditional BRAS devices and SDN/NFV technologies together, ZTE vBRAS technology allows separated user planes and control planes, decoupled software and hardware, cloudified control planes, rapid and flexible development of new services and centralized control of configuration, operation and maintenance (O&M). ZTE vBRAS is designed with hardware user plane and control plane separated architecture. The vBRAS-U has both NP-based high-performance forwarding pools and X86-based virtual forwarding pools. The two forwarding pools both utilize the vBRAS control plane to implement centralized and integrated management, and coordinative resource optimization.
