ZTE's RCS Solution Wins Award at IMS World Forum

ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, is pleased to win the 'Most Ambitious Solution for Rich Communications' award at the IMS World Forum with the company's industry-leading RCS technology.

ZTE's RCS solution enables telecommunication carriers to build a diverse range of innovative and compelling digital services including multi-user voice and video calls, multimedia messaging and social networking. With the RCS solution, carriers can leverage their network infrastructure more productively to offer new services to consumers and businesses, increasing network traffic and user stickiness.

'We are delighted to win the IMS World Forum award, which recognizes the capabilities of ZTE's RCS technology,' said Jason Tu, ZTE's Chief Scientist of SDN and NFV products. 'ZTE is committed to work with the industry partners to drive standardization, and deploy RCS technology for digital transformation.'

ZTE's world-class capabilities in telecommunications networks and VoLTE (voice over LTE) provide a strong platform for the company's leadership in RCS technology. With rising demand for social networking services across the world, ZTE's RCS solution supports carriers in developing innovative new communication services including Smart Home, Enterprise OA and Smart City. RCS technology provides carriers with an integrated gateway to optimize their service deployments, marketing and operations, and meet growing competition from OTT applications.

ZTE helped China Mobile build the world's largest vIMS based RCS network, with a capacity to serve 100 million users. New RCS services are in pre-commercial launch in more than 25 provinces in China.
