ZXCLOUD R8500 G4 is a compute-intensive rack server oriented to the applications of key fields. It is based on the latest Intel Purley platform and Skylake-EX processor, and provides memory with ultra-large capacity and highspeed I/O interfaces. With lots of unique design and innovation of chip level, link level, module level and system level, ZXCLOUD R8500 G4 is featured in Reliability, Availability and Scalability , fully meeting the rigor requirements of key field applications such as virtualization, large database, CRM, ERP and high-performance computing.

  • High Density, High Performance

    Based on the lastest Intel Purley platform, Skylake-EX high-performance processing, providing extensive RAS features. 4 Intel Skylake-EX series processors, 64-bit, 14nm processing, 45MB three-level cache, up to 28 processing cores, CPUs are fully interconnected through the UPI bus, the maximum speed is 10.4GT/s. 48 DDR4 DIMM slots, supports Intel AEP memory, maximum memory capacity of 12T (AEP). Maximum 12 non hot-swappable PCI‐E 3.0 slots, or maximum 4 hot-swappable PCI-E 3.0 slots. Configured with high-speed NIC, it provides users with strong numerical computing, graph and image processing and network communication capability. Supports the NVMe SSD with PCI-E 3.0 interface and NVME 2.5” hard disk. Three kinds of shelf configuration: shelf(1) supports 28 2.5” SAS/SATA hard disks or 20 2.5”SAS/SATA hard disks + 8 NVME hard disks; shelf(2) 8 2.5” SAS/SATA hard disks + 8 NVME hard disks(3) 8 2.5” SAS/SATA hard disks .

    Provides more than 50 RAS features (fault-tolerant capability) at chip level, link level, module level and system level, which comprehensively increases the system reliability;Excellent hardware fault detection, correction and report mechanism ; memory image, failure memory isolation ; Hot-swappable PCIe cards, senior error report, real time error recovery; UPI link protection and self-healing; CPU isolation and migration. Uses the black box technology that collects the host processor register information, keeps reset and the scene of the outage through independent transmission channels and storage medium, to provide efficient means for fault locating and troubleshooting. Supports TPM/TCM/TXT and other mainstream security solutions, hardware-level security protection function, to meet users’ high security requirements. Uses excellent heat dissipation design, to improve the system reliability, prolongs the service life of parts, and reduces the cost. Key components such as hard disks, power modules, memory cards and PCIe cards support hot swapping. They can be replaced and maintained without powering off the system, which improves the system availability. Supports hardware RAID and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and 50 to provide users with a variety of data protection solutions.

    Supports out-of-band centralized management on server CPU, memory, hard disk and network resource capital through the management software with standard configuration. Provides system power and cooling management, implements relative configuration quickly. Supports powerful KVMS function. The administrator can direct the CD-ROM and floppy drive of the local console to a remote server to upgrade software or install and maintain the operating system for the remote system. Supports system management by Web, to view log file, set alarm mode. Supports IPMI2.0 and DCMI1.5, to provide out-of-band management through the IPMI interface, and provide the SNMP interface to integrate with third-party management system, and provides local management tools including:Fault analysis and recovery;System diagnosis, system configuration, equipment management, and user management ;Network management, firmware management, security management; Automatic server protection in the case of power fluctuation or voltage dips ; Power consumption, performance adjustment and real-time report .

    Efficient platinum power module, up to 94%, supporting N+1 or N+2 redundancy, supporting power capping function. Smart speed control and quite fan design: low power consumption, low noise. Manager system power consumption of the system for providing reference for customers to configure the equipment room power. Smart CPU frequency conversion to adjust the CPU working frequency according to the service pressure.
