ZTE Corporation , a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, today announced its TECS OpenPaletter platform won the Truscted Cloud & Certified Kubernetes jointly issued by CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) and OSCAR (Open Source Cloud Alliance for industry) at the Cloud Computing Open Source Industry Conference in Beijing.

CNCF is a non-profit organization dedicated to unifying cloud computing interfaces and related standards. It belongs to the Linux Foundation and currently has more than 130 members. OSCAR is a third-party industry alliance established by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) together with global vendors and customers of cloud computing open source solutions. It is affiliated with the China Communications Standards Association (CCSA) and aims to promote the industrialization and launching of cloud computing open source solutions.

At the conference, CNCF and OSCAR signed an official agreement to conduct extensive cooperation in many aspects such as evaluation testing, training and community contribution ranking. This is the first alliance agreement reached by CNCF in China. It will not only help CNCF land in China, but also build a new bridge for cloud computing companies in China to go international.

ZTE TECS OpenPaletter is a PaaS platform based on the container and Kubernetes cluster management technologies and leveraging the micro-service framework to achieve the convergence of ICT. It implements all-round enhancement to Kubernetes including security, network, storage, computing, cluster management and platform deployment, to provide telcos with an integrated cloud native virtualization environment for application development, O&M and hosting. TECS OpenPalette provides a rapid lightweight deployment platform for upper-layer services and rich component libraries and the DevOps-based rapid delivery mechanism for service innovation.
